Uday Wankawala is the Chief Executive Officer of AIC–Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Foundation (AIC-RMP), supported by AIM, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India. Actively contributing to the Indian startup ecosystem since 2010, he has been leading AIC-RMP since December 2018, with a mission to nurture new-age entrepreneurs and unlock the entrepreneurial potential of India’s youth. Under his leadership, AIC-RMP has become one of the country’s top-performing incubators, formally recognized as a ‘Social Impact’ Incubator, with a vibrant community of 200+ founders, 80+ mentors, and 50+ partners.
Uday has addressed over 100,000 students across 400+ campuses, including IITs, IIMs, and NITs, inspiring them to embrace entrepreneurship. His earlier roles include working with SINE–IIT Bombay, UnLtd India, and NEN–Wadhwani Foundation, along with contributions to the National Entrepreneurship Awards Scheme. He has chaired committees for AICTE & MIC, advised the Smart India Hackathon, and evaluated projects for IICDC.
A postgraduate in Management from the University of Mumbai, Uday is a certified Instructional Designer and Stanford Seed Spark mentor.
