Edge San Diego was built around the notion that all members of the Dscoop community — both PSPs and exhibiting partners — could come together safely. There’s nothing like an in-person Dscoop event that fires on all cylinders; the energy, education and growth is off the charts. 

Unfortunately, many people in our community are either not permitted to attend an in-person event in October, or reported feeling uncomfortable doing so based on a survey of Dscoop PSPs and partners. Some of those companies have policies in place that severely limit business travel of any kind. That reality is coupled with rising COVID cases in all 50 states.

HP and Dscoop have made the joint decision to cancel Edge San Diego. 

That news disappoints us all — I personally can’t wait to hug and shake hands with so many folks in our great community — but the decision is necessary due to the health concerns of our community, ongoing business travel restrictions, and the desire to ensure that our events are as valuable as possible for attendees and partners.

Here’s hoping we can all meet in-person at Edge Denver, set for March 6-9, 2022 at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center. Meanwhile, our team will continue doing whatever we can to help you learn, connect and advance, including educational content, networking opportunities, collaborative tools, local activities and more. Dscoop is also exploring ways to enable PSPs and partners to interact safely and in-person on a local level in 2021.

The resilience and agility of this community has always been impressive. Although it’s disappointing to have to prove that truth once again, let’s work together to make the rest of the year a success as we move closer to Edge Denver.
